The webinar will be held on April 19, 7 p.m. Yerevan time (GMT+4) with the 2020 Aurora Prize Laureates – Fartuun Adan and Ilwad Elman, Heads of The Elman Peace and Human Rights Center in Somalia. We will also host Dae Eriksson, Executive Director of Love Does, Sunitha Krishnan, Founder of Prajwala and 2018 Aurora Humanitarian, and Emily Warne, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Communications at Panzi Hospital & Foundations. The discussion will be moderated by Associate Director of Humanitarian Policy Focus Area at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs – Susannah A. Friedman.
“Conversation with the 2020 Aurora Prize Laureates” will be dedicated to 2020 Aurora Prize Laureates and the non-profit organizations that have inspired their humanitarian action. Speakers will share their perspectives on the cycle of giving and why it is rewarding to all involved, as well as highlight the importance of the force for good, justice and equality that we all must foster.
Discussion language: English. Simultaneous interpretation to Armenian will be provided.
